SOLANA MEDSPAS CEO TO ADDRESS SCHOOL OF PHARMACY AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY



WHO:    John Buckingham, co-founder and chief executive officer of Irvine, Calif.-based Solana MedSpas, will serve as a forum
speaker at the Dean's Pharmacy Executive Forum, an academic, graded
class offered by Purdue University 's School of Pharmacy and
Pharmaceutical Sciences. The title of Buckingham's lecture is “How a Pharmacy Degree Helped Me Become a Serial Healthcare Entrepreneur."
Buckingham holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with
distinction from Purdue University (Class of 1976) and a Master's in
Business Administration from Harvard Business School . He is the
co-creator with the University of California , Irvine of their new Spa and Hospitality Certificate Program and serves on the UCI faculty. Prior to joining Solana MedSpas, Buckingham was chancellor and president of a major for profit university in Southern California headquartered in Long Beach . Buckingham is also a founding board member of the International Medical Spa
Association, serving as their vice president of corporate affairs.
